Mixology returns for our fourth instalment of UNDER on Saturday 6th May with our most decorated line-up of artists to date featuring: Danny Howard, Roger Sanchez, Sam Divine, MAUR + Mixology, Source & Zest Residents!

Broadcaster, DJ, label head and producer, Danny Howard lives and breathes dance music. An authority on the culture, the sound and the scene, a decade-long tenure at BBC Radio 1 has positioned him as the tastemaker of a generation. Now hosting Radio 1’s flagship Friday night show 'Radio 1’s Dance Party', Danny’s transition from underground champion to the fully-fledged star of the station is a credit to his unwavering commitment to musical discovery and a pair of the sharpest A&R ears in the business.

While Danny’s broadcasting success may be what has propelled his stardom, he is first and foremost a DJ. An adept selector brimming with musical knowledge. He has landed gigs at the world’s best venues; from London’s Printworks and Manchester’s Warehouse Project to Ibiza super clubs Hï and Amnesia, as well as playing across the international festival circuit.

For any DJ and wanna-be producer, “hustle” can be an oft-overstated attribute and, for the right person, it’s an underappreciated compliment from those in the know. Hustle is the absolute definition of both the man and the meteoric career of international DJ Roger Sanchez.

House music producer, DJ and remixer Roger Sanchez is one of the most legendary names in dance music. Best known for the international hit single “Another Chance”, Sanchez has recorded and released countless megahits in his three-decade tenure at the top of the global party scene, while travelling the world as a globally renowned DJ.

A born entertainer with a burning desire to play music to people around the world, Sam Divine’s enigmatic sets are effortless schooling in pure, unadulterated house.

From her early days as the sole member of the Defected street team in Ibiza to fronting their radio show and now headlining some of the world’s biggest clubs and festivals, The First Lady of Defected, has become an intrinsic part of the UK house music scene.

A DJ who has performed at almost every club in Ibiza including residencies at Ushuaia, Amnesia and Sankeys – as well as recognised as one of the best DJs in the world year-after-year for the past decade, there are few who can guarantee a musical journey like Sam Divine.

Returning to Mixo once more are one of dance music's hottest properties and break out acts of 2022. We welcome back Dylan May and Mixology Resident Dan Clare AKA MAUR!

With a string of top 5 Beatport releases and daytime Radio 1 airplay on both 'Power' with Solardo and their 'Salvation' collaboration with Goodboys, MAUR have been soundtracking your summer!

The duo put on an incredible performance in April at UNDER headlined by Solardo and have since gone on to play at Tomorrowland and across multiple festivals in the UK during the summer. They continue to earn rave reviews with recognition from BBC Radio 1 as one of the 'Future Stars' of 2022 with their first mini-mix 'Genesis' premiered by Danny Howard on his show earlier in the year.

Joining Roger Sanchez, Sam Divine, Danny Howard & MAUR on the line-up will be our Mixology ever-present resident DJs Tom Skinner & James Chan who will be warming things up as they’ve done best for the past decade!

We're also delighted to welcome Source Stamford resident Jason Veitch; Es Vedra, Zest Cambridge Resident Wigs and Jack Harrison for the first time!

The UNDER events have been nothing short of incredible since the inaugural party in 2021. Expect more of the same when UNDER returns on Saturday 6th May!

BBC Radio 1 Drum & Bass Show’s Host Charlie Tee brings her new brand ‘Unitee’ to Peterborough with a huge line-up on Sunday 7th May 2023 featuring Bou, K Motionz, Charlie Tee, Mozey, AMA + Strictly Soulful & Sin Central Residents!

Manchester's rising star and 4-time Drum & Bass Awards winner Bou is undeniably one of the UKs stand-out d&b producer / DJs right now!

With a host of Beatport number-one releases including his remix for Shy FX, he has demonstrated why he is at the top of his game. He has countless collaborations & remixes with the likes of DJ Fresh, High Contrast, Bru-C and has lot more to come!

Through his consistency and creativity both in his production and on stage, it is no surprise that Bou has cemented himself as the most exciting act in the scene. With the highly anticipated launch of his new label Gossip, he is only pushing his sound further and leading a new generation of artists.

Kallum Brookes aka K Motionz is arguably the most exciting and hotly tipped newcomer on the D&B circuit today.

Over the past few years he has cemented himself as a fan favourite across the globe. Having released his debut album 'The Evolution' at just 18, he has since toured the world and performed at every major British Music festival.

Heavyweight releases include: 'Hack It'; 'Reaction' featuring IC3, & 'Tell You'; 'Round Ere' along with Infinite (Freedom) released on Wilkinsons label and more recently the massive 'High Note' featuring Emily Makiswhich is receiving heavy Radio 1 rotation.

In a world obsessed with stereotypes and genre pigeonholing, Charlie Tee continues to carve out her own lane representing a versatile array of sounds, both on-air and in her DJ sets. Newly crowned as the first permanent female host of BBC Radio 1’s Drum & Bass show, Charlie Tee’s expansive knowledge of electronic dance music, broadcasting and DJing experience (spanning 10 years), make her a truly unique act.

As a DJ, Charlie’s infectious high-energy sets are what she’s renowned for and some of her gig highlights include: Glastonbury, Tomorrowland, Warehouse Project, Printworks, Elrow, Fabric, Hospitality, Snowboxx, Ibiza Rocks, NASS, Boomtown, Boardmasters and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

Charlie’s impressive knowledge of electronic music and warm, affable nature caught the attention of BBC Radio 1 and promptly saw her cover some of the stations most coveted shows including: Friday night’s iconic Dance Party (Danny Howard), Future Dance for Sarah Story and Sound System Party (Jeremiah Asiamah). This ultimately lead to her landing her very own slot on Saturday nights, as the host of Radio 1s D&B show where she broadcasts live weekly at 11pm.

Michael Hitches, known to most as 'Mozey' made his mark with his track Ladykillaz -a modern day DnB classic. He followed this up with a release schedule that reads like a bucket list of the most revered, modern Drum and Bass labels: Hospital Records; V Recordings; 31Records; Elevate; Serial Killaz.

In the last 12 months Mozey has played at some of the biggest venues in the UK and Europe including Printworks; Tobacco Docks in London, Belgium, Prague, Barcelona and a headline tour of New Zealand and Australia. This tour capped off a summer full of festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bassfest and many more.

Mozey is now a resident DJ on one of dance music’s leading independent radio stations Rinse FM. A firm fan favourite due to his social media antics and with a string of high-profile releases on the way you can expect to see his name everywhere in the coming year.

Ama has been consistently turning heads in the scene – especially since lockdown.

Live streams for Heavy Sonics, Ram Records and Shogun Audio, combined with guest mixes for House of Hi-Fi, Hospital Records’ Degs Cast and Rinse FM, have helped the Bournemouth-based artist to become a name, gaining rapid recognition.

But her reputation as a music selector stems back much further. From international bookings as far as South Africa and the US, to DJ sets at Outlook, Boomtown and Red Bull’s Open House, Ama has spent years gaining global recognition for her ability behind the decks. DJ Flight included Ama in her 2019 Black History Month series highlighting reputable black women in dance music – a true honour for an artist who began her D&B journey in 2011 DJing vinyl with a burning passion for the culture. Inspired by pioneers such as Andy C, Randall, Calibre and Break, you can guarantee Ama’s mixes will ooze influence from the best.
